Principal's Statement: PS 241 is located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. We have partnerships with the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Public Library, Prospect Park, Lefferts Homestead, Prospect Heights and Clara Barton High Schools, St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf and Medgar Evers College. Our Botanical Gardens partnership engages our students in horticultural studies. Our Museum partnership engages them in a Global Studies program, linked with Metro International, which has brought us Fulbright Scholars from around the globe. The Arts Connection is a major component of our school program. Our Glee Club, Dance Club, Bell Group and Art Club prepare students for celebrations throughout the school year. We have a multi-faceted multicultural program.

Non-academic activities included: Dance, computer, glee and bell clubs; Band and instrumental music program, Feld Ballet, National Dance Institute (NDI), and an informal conflict resolution program. | |
